WHO WE ARE
We’re neighbors who love the Outer Sunset and want to make it even better. Our approach to making that happen is simple:
- Be forward-looking. Whether we grew up or moved here, we want the neighborhood to be better tomorrow than yesterday.
- Have fun! We try to make improving our neighborhood fun and easy.
Our Projects
Neighborhood streets, not highways
For decades, the top cause of death for children has been by car; similarly, seniors make up 15% of San Franciscans but over half of our City’s pedestrian traffic fatalities. People of all ages should be safe getting around our neighborhood. Simple changes can make a big difference, like improving visibility at intersections (called “daylighting”) and creating a safe network of streets prioritizing walking and biking for transit so people have safe options to get around.
Put a tree on it
A green neighborhood is a vibrant and healthy neighborhood. We support projects to bring more trees and greenery to our neighborhood.
Ocean Beach Park
The oceanfront is our neighborhood’s greatest asset. A full time park along Ocean Beach would make the oceanfront more accessible (and fun!) for people of all ages and abilities in our neighborhood.
Shop Sunset
Our neighborhood needs more small businesses. To get there, the city government needs to make it easier to open them.
Wires Six Feet Under
Long term, we want to look up and see blue sky, not a mangle of power wires. Foot by foot, we help get those wires buried six feet under!
